October 1 – 31
This 66-year old signature-fishing tournament anticipated event highlights the diversity of fishing found here in the “World’s Luckiest Fishing Village.” Daily competition and weigh-ins keep the action going all month long! Locals and visitor alike look forward to casting their line as a part of this month-long tournament.
October 14 – 28 10:00AM – 9:00PM
Even land lovers can join the fun as they watch the Destin fishing fleets bring in the days catch for the Destin Fishing Rodeo. After you fulfill your fishing fix, head to the Event Stage at HarborWalk Village for some live music at 7pm and a fireworks show to end the night with a bang!
October 21 & 22 8:00 AM
Dare to run triple of the wicked fun? The Wicked Triple Fun 10K/5K/Half Marathon is a premier event to raise funds to build a new track for Okaloosa County. The 10K which starts at 7:30am is the first leg of the three-part series, which is followed by a sunset 5K at 5:30pm, and a half marathon at 7:30am the next morning. Immediately after the 10K, there will be an awards ceremony at Magnolia Grill on Brooks Street. There will be 5K awards and after party at AJ’s on the Bayou. There will be a throwdown on Sunday morning at The Landing after the half marathon.
October 31 5-8 pm
The 2nd annual Tricks and Treasures at the Boardwalk will be on Tuesday, October 31 from 5pm to 8pm. This family-friendly Halloween celebration will feature trick-or-treating, live entertainment, and plenty of beach-front family fun.
