What Does a Fort Walton Beach Christmas Look Like?
A Fort Walton Beach Christmas is a joyous event-filled season marked by mild temperatures and contagious holiday spirits. This is one of our favorite times of the year. Our beaches are less crowded and we’re able to enjoy sunny days and mild temperatures on our sugar-white beaches (although we must admit, the water is a tad too chilly to enjoy). Once we’re done in the sun, there are a ton of Christmas activities to enjoy. Let’s look at what Christmas looks like in Fort Walton Beach!Baytowne Wharf offers nightly ice skating through the holidays. Prices are $11 to skate with a $3 skate rental. Santa can be spotted at all sorts of events around our area, however, don’t miss the opportunity to have lunch with Santa at Aj’s at Cinco Bayou, on December 16th at 2 pm. This special occasion helps support the Angel Tree program in the area. This year, the activities will include a Home Depot Kids’ workshop, candy cane, and Christmas ornament making, cookie decorating, face painting, spin art, writing letters to Santa, hot chocolate, and a visit with the Big Guy, himself. If you’re looking for some evening entertainment, a quick drive down 98 will take you to Zoo Lights.
