A Lovely Historic Fort Walton Beach Museum and Building
The Garnier Post Office is located at 127 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, Fort Walton beach, FL 32548, inside of Fort Walton Beach’s Heritage Park and Cultural Center in the downtown area.
Inside of this historic post office that now serves as one of the museums in Fort Walton Beach FL dedicated to local history through the eyes of the post office, you and your guests can learn more about the significant role that the Garnier Post Office had in the local community from 1918 until 1956, which was operated by a single family for decades.
Admission to this museum is included with your admission to all of the buildings and sites within Heritage Park. Prices range from as little as $3.18 for children ages 4 – 17 years old to $5.30 for adults ages 18 years and older. Children under the age of 4 years are admitted for free.
This attraction is open to the public on Monday through Saturday, with different hours depending on the season. From June through August, visitors can attend the museum from 12:00pm – 4:00pm. From September through May, the museum is open from 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
