General FAQ
Do you allow pets?
No, unfortunately your pet cannot accompany you when visiting The Breakers. We would be happy to recommend boarding accommodations should you desire to have them travel with you.
Does my room overlook the beach?
All balconies of our Fort Walton Beach condominiums face towards the beach. As our pools and grill areas are on the south side of the buildings some units overlook these areas as well as the
beach and some of the dunes.
Do you honor retired military with the military rate?
Yes, we honor the military discount rate to all active or retired military service members. Only the government rate can be honored for active military on orders to the Panhandle area.
Beach Services
Sunset Beach Services provide a full set up for standard paying reservations. This set up includes 2 beach chairs and 1 umbrella (regardless of unit size), which can be claimed beginning at 9AM and will be removed by 5PM (these hours could vary depending on the weather). Any additional chairs, or for unqualifying guests, chairs can be purchased directly from the beach service attendant with cash only. Please be respectful to the beach service attendants, as they work very hard to provide this service for you. Any reports of improper behavior to the beach attendant could result in refusal of this service with no prior warning.
Wedding FAQ
What happens if there’s bad weather on my wedding day?
If the couple has already rented the banquet room for the reception, we offer the banquet room to be used for the ceremony as well, especially since it’s already decorated for the reception. If the banquet room was not already booked in advance, but if it is available, we can rent to them for their ceremony. Otherwise, we do not have another alternative. Are there any decor restrictions?
The Breakers asks guests to avoid putting any holes or paint on walls. Otherwise, there are no restrictions.
