You can find the official Fort Walton Beach Christmas tree located at the Fort Walton Beach Landing this holiday season once again. This massive tree is covered in thousands of Christmas lights and ornaments. A bright star shines on top as well, making it a true spectacle to see during your visit. The Fort Walton Beach Christmas tree is first turned on each year the Friday after Thanksgiving at an event called “Light Up the Night”. This lively event features holiday music put on by the Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus, a message from the city mayor, and a visit from Santa. The lights will turn on at 5:30 PM each day giving you an opportunity to enjoy family Fort Walton Beach photography right in the front of the tree. You will find that the Fort Walton Beach Landing has plenty of lighting making it easy to snap a quick and clear picture. Details have yet to be announced for this year’s “Light Up the Night” but you can expect the Fort Walton Beach Christmas Tree ready to be the perfect backdrop for your family holiday picture.
