Events at Fort Walton Beach Landing Park
You will find some of the best outdoor events of the year hosted at the Fort Walton Beach Landing Park. Numerous concerts and neighborhood events take place here for some incredible fun. Get to know the incredible animals that call Fort Walton Beach their home by visiting the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park. Gulfarium has been open since 1955 providing over 65 years of incredible fun. Most of the park is outdoors offering dolphin encounters, hands on exhibits with sharks and rays, and much more. Some of the favorite stars at Gulfarium are locally rescued sea turtles that are a complete joy. Stop in the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park located at 1010 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE. Gulfarium is typically open daily from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Outdoor Cruise with Cattywampus Aquatic Adventures
Head out onto the water surrounding Fort Walton Beach with an exciting cruise offered by Cattywampus Aquatic Adventures. They offer some of the best cruises in the area where you are practically guaranteed to see local wildlife such as dolphins up close. Cruises also offer plenty of opportunities to jump out and snorkel to see what is going on under the water. A variety of cruises are currently offered including sunset cruises, snorkeling trips, full day trips, and more. Beachside Fun at John Beasley Park
There is no better spot to relax on the beach in Fort Walton Beach than John Beasley Park. This local beach park offers a scenic view you will absolutely love. In addition, you can find plenty of picnic tables and a snack bar to keep you fed all day. Changing rooms and showers even allow you to clean up after a dip in the ocean before you head out for more fun. John Beasley Park can be found at 1550 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE. Similar to other beach parks John Beasley Park is open daily from sunrise to sunset.
Endless Kids Fun at Liza Jackson Park
Vacation is not all about what the adults want to get up to; the children have just as much fun as everyone else! Liza Jackson Park is another local scenic park that offers endless fun for the children. Liza Jackson Park has over 1,000 feet of waterfront views with a fishing pier from which to reel in a catch. Children will have a blast on the numerous play structures where they can climb around. Picnic tables are set up to enjoy an outdoor meal. A boat launch will also let those with boats take off from the park and cruise around the shoreline of Fort Walton Beach. You can find Liza Jackson Park at 338 Miracle Strip Pkwy SW. Unlike other parks, Liza Jackson is open until 11:00 PM every day of the week.
